February 2nd, SUMMARY
I don't know if this has helped me. But there are connections. That much I can see. Fear has many aspects to it and is hardly one singular concept, yet I've found that it is the anticipation of an event which is the mind killer. I shall try to summarise my findings.
The feeling of fear is universal, yet individual on how it affects us. We all have different ways of experiencing the world, thus, naturally, various emotional states will vary. However, I would hardly claim it is a reach to say that everybody undergo fear at stages in their lives, especially some form of anxiety. As human beings we are both blessed and cursed with the ability to observe a hypothetical future, which can lead us to concern ourselves needlessly with what may be. It can become massive, and approach us through the temporal space like a predator would, and our reaction is much like what it would be in the wild. Our spaces will feel attacked, and I would believe it can manifest itself in feelings of distrust of said spaces.
This month has been hard. I still do not feel myself as I did, but I understand a bit more now. And understanding is a good step forwards.
